Altar Servers fulfill the role of an Acolyte by assisting the priest at Mass.
Bereavement
We meet with families to help in planning the Mass for their loved one. Families may request music and scripture readings from the approved list. They may also choose to do the readings and carry the gifts at the offertory. A memorial service is held each November to remember those who have died during the past year.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are commissioned by the Archbishop to distribute the body and blood of Jesus in the Eucharist.
Readers / Lectors
Readers fulfill the role of a Lector and play a critical role in the celebration of the Mass. The Scriptural Readings of each Mass are meant to come alive, allowing God to speak to his people. By accepting this call a Lector accepts the responsibility to prepare well and to continually seek ways of improving his/her ability to proclaim God’s Word.
Ushers
Users distribute Bulletins after Mass and attend to details of the church environment. During each Mass, they also carry the traditional responsibility for seating, taking collections, and attending to emergencies.
